Ceiling-to-Floor Fixing Kit for 10mm (3/8″) Dia. Rods
The RAS-10 ceiling-to-floor rod fixing kit is designed for typical ceiling-to-floor or tailored suspended applications, such as installations inside window frames, glass cabinets, and rails or tracks. It is compatible with our standard right-hand M6 threaded 10mm diameter rods in lengths of 1.5m (4′ 11-1/16″), 1.0m (3′ 3-3/8”), and 0.5m (1′ 7-11/16”).
The RAS-10 ceiling-to-floor rod fixings are made of robust solid brass alloy. When properly secured to the ceiling, it can provide exceptional weight support and stability. The entire assembly with connected rods can support up to 200 kg (441 lbs) per fixing point (for ceiling applications, subject to fixing to studs or solid structure). The 10mm (3/8″) diameter rods can be used with various standard, multi-position, or specialty supports for holding graphic panels, acrylic or glass shelves, decorative partition panels, display showcases, aluminum or wood frames, hanging clothes rails, graphic holders, horizontal rods for fabrics, wine bottles, and various other presentations.
The RAS-10 ceiling-to-floor rod fixing kit can also be used with aluminum rails/tracks to enhance display flexibility and simplify installation. By using toggles affixed to the rod anchor, users can adjust the rods and move them sideways. Tracks are available in lengths of 4, 6, or 8 feet, with custom sizes or continuous runs available upon request. For installation, rail or track systems must be securely mounted to a solid structure or blocking, which includes attaching tracks to ceiling struts, structures above the ceiling line, or wall studs.

Composition and Materials:
For durability, all rod display fittings are made from a brass alloy, UNS C37710/ASTM B124. Grub screws used for fittings are made of AISI 12L14 Carbon Steel (UNS G12144) and have a plastic tip of Nylon 6-6.
Colors/Finishes:
Matte (Pearl) Nickel/Chrome Plating: chrome is plated over matte nickel to achieve a hard, uniform finish that is semi-lustrous with low reflectivity. It is also referred to as pearl or velour chrome, which does not have the lines or grainy appearance found in traditional satin nickel/chrome finishes. Satin chrome is the only standard/stock finish. Custom finishes are available on request. Lead times will be longer and a minimum quantity may be required.
Product Limitations:
For indoor use only. Rod system performs well in all closed environments as long as it is not exposed to direct weathering such as rain, snow, moisture, etc. For marine or other high humidity environments, please request stainless steel type 316/582 rods that have a higher corrosion resistance. Follow the instructions and weight-bearing limitation indicated on the technical data sheets.
